Summer ART Saturdays  - Ages 5-7:
June & July Saturdays ~  10:00 - 12:30 ~ $30
(Monthly Discount: $150.00 if enrolled before June 1st -for June Camp; and June 20th -for July Camp)

Get ready to draw, paint ~ make and take!  Every Saturday artists will be engaged kinesthetically learning and inspired to explore and create through connections with award-winning children's literature using themes such as Animals, ABCs, Rhyming, Bugs, Birds, and Nursery Rhymes.  Don't miss a week! We will explore both 2D and 3D projects which include: Portraits, Landscapes, Animals, Weavings, Bookmaking, Collage and Sculpture, Printmaking.  All Art projects build upon Literacy Skills such as vocabulary, rhyming, musicality, the alphabet, phonemic awareness, as well as technique, creative expression, sensory integration, fine-motor coordination, following directions, making comparisons sequencing, and problem solving.  (Monthly discounts offered)

Have a blast drawing, painting, print-making, collage, weaving and making books that fly!  Engaged kinesthetic learning – honing drawing skills with themes such as dragons, animals, cars, insects, birds, portraits, people, still life and landscapes.  Artists are inspired to create through connections with award-winning literature, master artists and masterpieces (realistic and abstract).  Artists will create amazing 2D and 3D projects every week - drawings, paintings, bookmaking, collage, printmaking, and Sculpture (papier-mâché, repousse’, and clay)

All projects build artistic drawing, painting and construction sklls to reinforce understanding of the creative process of expression, design and composition while applying and enhancing vocabulary, fine and gross motor coordination, sensory integration, following directions, making comparisons and problem solving.

Summer Spelling/Reading Skills - 2nd-6th graders
Based on researched-based and proven Neuhaus Scientific Spelling and The Shelton School (SEE) Sequential English Education program for struggling readers, spellers/writers including dyslexia, and LD students.   Students are instructed and grouped by grade (grade as of September 2012)   Discount: $10.00 if enrolled before June 1st
